       My name is Karl, I'm an artist from Paris.

       One day at a Saturn Party (a demo party, initiated by Amiga users, then extended to all platforms, including PCs), I saw two guys playing a demo of a new game. Screenshots I haven't seen before, a female character, swimming in what appeared to be flooded ruins, pulling levers and picking up treasures... what a beautiful game, I thought, maybe I'll end up buying one of those bl... PCs.
It was my first meeting with Lara Croft, though I didn't know her name yet.
       A few months later, the game was released on Playstation.
